Wire Expo 2008 Visits Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Recognized for its iron-clad steel making history, its landmark hills and sequence of 944 area bridges, Pittsburgh evoked the best from industrialists and innovators from Andrew Carnegie to George Westinghouse. Today the city is infused with a new energy, inspiring achievements like the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, the world’s first ‘green’ building of its kind where WAI will host Wire Expo, June 7-11, 2008. The building itself is an exquisite example of wire and cable at work.
