Preparing for an OSHA inspection and implementing proactive programs are critical components of the relationship between OSHA and industry. This presentation discusses how these strategies can be used to improve industrial safety. It presents the top 12 most commonly issued citations specific to wire and cable-related businesses, with examples of what inspections have found and what manufacturers should look for in their own plants. It discusses various cooperative options such as Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP), examining their benefits and how they work. Lastly, it shares best practices specific to wire and cable.
