Hello there SpindleSeals;
Oh we're not such a tough crowd.
You started this thread on 05-13-2009 @ 10:29 AM EDT when I was in Asia on business and about 11 hours ahead of the Forums time.
There was a second thread started from Kabel.Consult. about 26 hours after your thread at 05-14-2009 @ 12:19 PM EDT (Energy Costs) and this thread then took the highlight position on the front or welcome page of the "General" Technical Segment.
I imagine then, through various responses in the "General" Technical Segment, your thread was ultimately lost in the pile so to speak until I found it today and commanded that it be placed in proper temporal position against its last response. Sorry that I missed your thread earlier.
"Spectre07" was right in explaining to you that the wire and cable industry is very diversified and unfortunately you did not even categorize your request to either the steel industry or to the non-ferrous industries. These are the two major divisions between sections of the wire industry.
The industry is also quite complex in its various section manufacturing sequences and I doubt if you would find anybody prepared to do the kind of major work you requested for free. (We have assumed you are looking for the manufacturing sequences at some depth because you stated you have done "many hours of research".)
If you want to actually learn something about the manufacturing sequences in the wire and cable industry, I suggest you visit this link:
www.wirenet.org/waistore/index.cfm and review the books that are available for purchase.
I do indeed hope that your presentation went well.
Regards,
Peter J. Stewart-Hay
