Dear All,

I have some problems on bending test of steel wire.when I checked torsion number, tensile strenght and wrapping test, everything is okey but on bending test # of bending is about 5-7. It should be more than 15. Please help me about how to increase # of bending without decreasing tensile strenght and etc.
and what is the reasons for low bending cycle.

Please give diameter and carbon content of wire to be tested.

In general, specifications call, as ductility indicator, for bend test or torsion test depending on the size of the wire, usually, do not call for both. Larger diameters are complicated to torsion test.
