Overview:

This is the third and final installment of a three-part webinar series on cleaning and coating of ferrous wire and rod.

Part III covers specialty coatings such as salt carriers, lubricants, dry film polymers, and new technologies on the horizon.

Parts I and II (now available in the Wirenet online archive) present the fundamentals of cleaning and pickling, in preparation for the coating of ferrous wire and rod and the subsequent drawing operation; and the zinc phosphate process, including the control methods, what the data means to the operator, and basic troubleshooting of the process.

This three-part program is intended for operators, managers, and process engineers involved in this phase of operations.

Members receive free access to all WAI webinars. The non-member price is $55 per webinar.
