Webinars - Electrical Track
This group is for participants and instructors of WAI's core webinars on topics in the electrical track. It is open to anyone interested in contributing, but is intended to build on the discussion begun in the various nonferrous webinars.
Here's an interesting note for those who were intrigued by Larry Powell's reference in his webinar to Topsy, the elephant electrocuted as part of the War of Currents. A book about Topsy was published this summer that appears to weave together circus lore, the science of electricity, and period americana.
It's called Topsy: The Startling Story of the Crooked Tailed Elephant, P. T. Barnum, and the American Wizard, Thomas Edison. Here's a link to the book description on Amazon:
