Draw-Pak

Once widely used, this equipment enables wire to be fed directly into dispatch containers of the payoff pak type (the containers are rotated). The Draw-Pak can either be an integral part of a wiredrawing machine, thus providing a continuous wiredrawing and packaging machine, or it can be in the form of a continuous wire packaging attachment for conversion of existing wiredrawing machines, processing equipment or coating frames. It is still in use but has largely been replaced by in-line core and spooling equipment.
