What and how does Fiber optic cable work?

1 year 8 months ago #3006 by Mr Aplam Chaplam, Jr
When light hits a transparent surface, it refracts, bending it slightly. Different materials refract the light at different angles. Fiber optic cables are designed such that light inside the cable refracts such that it more or less bounces off the inside of the cable instead of shining out. This allows the light to travel long distances in the cable. Sensors at the other end can detect the light being turned on and off on the other side. This allows the cable to be used for digital communication. https://appsync.biz/speed-test/Speed Test https://appsync.biz/scrabble-word-finder/Scrabble Word Finder https://appsync.biz/solitaire/Solitaire

Once you start pondering over these questions, you think of a network. The one that enables you to conduct these activities seamlessly. And what powers this network? Fiber Optic Cables – the thin strands made from molten silica glass. They process the information, convert it into light and transmits the data for you. read more www.sfcable.com/blog/fiber-optic-cables-multiple-benefits/
