Bench Top Crimper

I'm looking for a bench top crimper to crimp 10 to 18 gauge solderless terminals. The crimper needs to have an easy way to change out dies for the different size terminals and types of terminals. Must be able to crimp insulated, non-insulated, and open barrel terminals.

Any ideas?

There are lots of these on the Internet and you are going to have to search for your particular requirement.

Go to Google and search for:

In the past,I have done production crimping of wires that you advised-I used two manufactures of crimping equipment-AMP and Molex
Both are great for insulated and non-insulated terminals 10-22 gauge. The Molex bench top had the more economical and easy to install tooling

Better late than never. I just found your question. By now you have found a solution. Try Paladin-Tools or Simonds. They make generic crimping tools and dies. Tyco/AMP makes crimping tools for their own connectors. Same with Molex. I have found I get the best results using the tools made by the manufacturer of the connector. I have used the Simonds SP-008F pneumatic assembly for a 50 ohm mini-coax connector. I just ordered a Tyco SDE Electric Terminator # 1490076-2 with 58436-3 die set to try out. The hand tools work good but hard on the wrist. Good luck.
